Welcome to our Christmas newsletter.
The people of East Timor are fortunate that you have chosen to continue to support Maluk Timor in its endevour to improve the health of its most marginalized.
Unless you’re a regular Facebook follower, you probably have relatively little idea of what we’ve been up to at Maluk Timor head quarters these past eight weeks.
Some of our programs have essentially been able to carry on uninterrupted….
Women’s health and social care, the rheumatic heart disease program and training of Timorese Doctors.
Administratively, it has been a very active time for us: designing and rolling out programs, hiring and training staff, and building partnerships with more than a dozen other NGOs and government programs. We are pleased at how warmly we’ve been embraced, and in fact we’re finding more and more of these partners are seeking our cooperation in joint operations.
The team of 25 on the ground have been working tirelessly so please read the snapshot below to get a better understanding.
So many heartwarming events happen so like us on Facebook to be inspired.
For those who have everything at Christmas – you might want to give a present of support to Maluk Timor.
We can only do this with your help – so please consider making a donation.
Please feel free to contact us anytime.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr Jeremy Beckett and Dr Chris Fenton

PS. there are additional programs beginning to take shape as well: in Pathology, Dental Health, Mental Health and even Medical Engineering. Watch this space: 2018 is going to be a big year for Maluk Timor.
