Our Timor-based team includes roles such as HIV and TB doctors, nurses, counsellors, and healthcare workers who work directly with communities on prevention, treatment, and long-term care. Their work is supported by our program managers and specialists across areas including:
- Maternal and child health
- Rheumatic heart disease
- Nutrition
- Oral health
As well, this work is further strengthened by health professional educators who are not only responsible for training and mentoring our broader workforce, but also for monitoring and evaluating outcomes, data systems, and program impact. Complemented with leadership and development staff who are focused on the growth of individuals and teams, we also have dedicated clinical leads who ensure that the care Maluk Timor delivers aligns with national standards.
Of course, this work wouldn’t be possible without our wider team network! Finance and operations teams, IT and communications specialists, HR and administration staff – plus gardeners, cleaners, cook and security staff who are essential to creating a safe and supported environment for this work to take place within.
