José is currently one of the Program Managers with CARE International in Timor-Leste. He has 13 years of experience with International NGOs organizations.
Prior to CARE, he held several positions from the field officer up to the Deputy Country Director role with World Vision Timor-Leste for more than 11 years and later on appointed as President of TATOLI news agency (state news agency) for 1 and half years.
He is very passionate about community development, organizational development, media and communications. He graduated from Universidade da Paz (UNPAZ), majoring in political development.
