Gaining Control of the Tuberculosis Epidemic

Tuberculosis is the number 1 killer in Timor-Leste, and there are so many barriers to be overcome in gaining control of this epidemic.

Maluk Timor is working to increase the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis across Timor Leste.

Our program, only 6 months old, has staff in 4 different areas: case finding, clinical supervision, program review and developing local staff.

Plus a new field research project under development.

So much to do.

Help us do even more
